A set of bills before the Minnesota legislature, HF 2379/SF 1994, SF 1129/HF 2469, and SF 3977/ HF 4406 would allow minors to consent to HPV vaccination and would eliminate the conscientious belief exemption to vaccination.
These bills are troubling given the well-documented dangers of the HPV vaccine. Of additional concern is the fact that doctors may not give minors the necessary information for there to be informed consent, which would include educating minors that regular screenings are more effective at preventing cervical cancer than the HPV vaccine.
Write to your representatives and urge them to oppose HF 2379/SF 1994, SF 1129/HF 2469, and SF 3977/ HF 4406.
