A bill has been introduced in the California legislature, SB 1325, that would allow an individual to self-quarantine during public health events rather than comply with otherwise mandatory medical orders from the state, including medications or vaccinations.
It has been ANH-USA’s position to oppose mandatory vaccinations. If individuals can self-quarantine during the outbreak of an illness, then they should not be forced by the state to receive treatments they don’t want. Individuals should have the right to choose what goes into their bodies--especially if reasonable alternatives exist.
